LAST DAY to PLEDGE!

Well folks, this is it! The last day to pledge. We're shutting this puppy down at 9:00 pm this evening, so if you were going to get your hands on this oversized art book and all of the crazy stretch rewards, NOW IS THE TIME!

We need two more comments!

It's crazy to say, but the folks who have pledged have been amazing. We only need two more comments to unlock the limited edition print reward for all physical backers. If you have pledged, now is the time to comment! I have already started working on a special illustration for this (shown below). 

Another Stretch Goal Unlocked

We just blew past our second stretch goal and now all physical backers will receive a limited-edition magnet. Now, if we reach $3000 we'll unlock the final stretch goal of an art print of the "Alien Encounter" for all physical backers, which is pretty cool. We're working on new stretch goals now to launch during the day if we get past this last one (trying to give you as much value as possible). 

Close to Backer Goal

So we are very close to our backer goal of 90 backers. That goal will unlock the sticker reward for every physical backer. This may actually end up a die cut and maybe a hologram sticker or something. I am feeling creative since this Kickstarter has gone so well. We'll see.

Hey folks, we only have 30 hours left! This is your last chance to get in on this amazing project. 

Also, we are about halfway (9 out of 20) to our comments stretch goal. LET'S DO THIS! If you are a backer,  go to the comments section and leave a nice comment. That helps with the algorithm and also shows all the folks that are thinking about a last-minute pledge that this project is the shit (which it is). 

Again, you not only get to help the campaign, but you also get more stuff! These prints (from the comments stretch goal) will be TOTALLY NEW and not in the book so you want to make this happen, baby.

 2nd Stretch Goal Unlocked! More Stretch Goals Added!

As we close in on the last day of the Kickstarter, there's more and more news to report. First, we cruised past our second stretch goal: $2000 and 2 limited edition postcards for every backer. Second, we've added two alternative stretch goals (a) if we get 20 comments on the project every physical backer gets a 10"x10" limited edition art print and (b) if we get 90 project backs every physical backer gets a limited edition 3"x3" sticker. So, go on the Kickstarter and comment on your excitement (or questions) and share this project with your friends so we get more backers and expand the rewards. Great stuff! Remember, we only have 62 hours left so time is running out!

We are excited that you "did it" and unlocked the first of our stretch goals! 2 unique bookmarks for each physical backer. The support has been rolling in for this project and we couldn't be more excited. Even after we've laid off advertising, folks continue to roll in. That said, we'll be amping up our promotions again soon and hopefully that will push everything into another stratosphere. 

Our next stretch goal involves limited edition postcard artwork for everyone.

Come See Me In Baltimore

This weekend we are totally stoked to attend the Baltimore Comic Con in Artists Alley. There are so many amazing artists and creators at the event. It's very intimidating, but we're ready! We'll be selling Ethos: Heroes Lost and our other comics as well as prints and merchandise. One of the features of the convention is a portfolio review from DC Editor, Brittany Holzherr. R.L. Black will be taking his portfolio there for review, especially inking samples. Below is a sample of an inked cover by Jim Lee.
